Damn, the message says this is my first visit since 28 December 2010. Scary.

Anyway, this is beautiful! I'm one of the people who wrote the Wikipedia article on this class, so I'm ecstatic to see such a beautiful drawing... I'm used to seeing blurry black and white photos.

Replying to page 2... Caroline's the only ship still around that fought in the Battle of Jutland. Amazing how you can draw the ships but don't know their history, eh? ;) [I'm the exact opposite, so that's not an insult]

yup + they had to find exactly how they were going to pay for them. :-) Really? That's awesome! I think it's a conglomeration of museums that are posting all of that, so apparently they hold some of your dad's stuff (which is also awesome)!

She wasn't a 'true' battleship -- she was more of a coast-defense ship. Alvama, what time period does this drawing represent? (1930s, right?)
