Call it artistic license, I like the straight back better than the way it would really look. As far as overall height, it's actually only increased by less than 1.25 meters.

It would fly, the original concept for the Boeing 747 was for a full-length upper deck.

The tail is just the same tail from the 747-400. I like the straight back look to it versus the tapered look. It's a bit C-5, a bit B-52, and a lot 747. Works for me.

Yeah it's a good, compact launching system and its dimensions were impossible to find on the Internet. I was lucky in that someone with access to Jane's got me the information.

Thanks to someone with access to Jane's references guides I have this information (FINALLY):

Mk 44 (formerly Mk 143) armored box launchers weigh 26 tonnes and are 7.06 m long and 2.13 m wide and 2.03 m high...
