Ok, this is still a work in progress, and not complete.

I managed to get some pdf drawings from INCAT, for both the LHT (flat top) and Air Support Vessel, ASV, with ski jump ramp for Harrier/F-35.

Comments, improvements, helpful advice, gladly accepted.

Australian Govt announced this week the forthcoming retirement of the Balikpapan LCH's. Looks like the Caimen 200 is a contender.

One role being considered is that of independant amphib ops. If so, a helo deck maybe in order and enlarged medical facilities.

I noticed the following post on the Albatross on another forum and whether or not she should of been converted to an escort carrier durring WW2. Would make an interesting alternative: "How then might Albatross have been better used? What qualities did Albatross have that might have made her more val...

I'm surprised the Poms didn't try to flog the Invincible off to us again, 25 years after their 1st attempt  Maybe they could offer one of the flat-tops as the consolation prize for losing the ashes (cricket reference for those who don't follow the sport of leather and willow) this summer. By th...

The Royal Navy's flagship aircraft carrier, HMS Ark Royal, will be scrapped almost immediately under the defence review. The government's cutting defence spending by 8% with parts of the military likely to be made smaller. David Cameron's given guarantees that the mission in Afghanistan will not be...

And the catapult on the left of the hangar... is for small UAVs? I believe it's a launcher for the Scan Eagle UAV, one of the cheaper UAVs on the market. I'd think not, as it's too big (A Scan Eagle can be launched off of a Mk V SOC) The size fits more with the Fire Scout or similar sized UAV. Edit...
