I actually started a ship with 31.5-inch guns as a BB for my AU. Here's the completed main turret. I took pixel measurements from various completed turrets already drawn and simply increased the size by the differences between them. This ginormous thing is what came out. There was supposedly to have been an expedition to look for Kongo's wreckage back in March 2010, but it never got started due to lack of funds. The ship should be fairly easy to find as she's only about 350 feet down.

Nice work, but the Vaterland I was referring to was much bigger. She was launched in 1940, but was destroyed by bombs in 1943, finally being scrapped in 1948. I've only seen two pics of a model to show how she would've looked as completed.
