Very interesting. It has occurred to me "what-if" the HMS Repulse survived the IJN torpedo attack and returned to Singapore. Scuttled upon the Japanese invasion but still salvageable. So the Japanese raise her and tow to Kure for repairs. What do they do with it? A transport, a battlecruiser or mayb...

Great drawing. great cruiser design! I love the big cruisers from the 70s but Nuke power was a one way street. I especially like the auto gun! How about two! With the Old BBs and CA gone I thoughta dedicated gunfire support cruiser would be useful 8" x 8", Other weapons would be defence missiles and...

Very nice! Love the 6" guns in Omaha type turrets. On a game forum a couple of years ago we discussed the idea of US battle cruisers prior to The Lexingtons. Started in 1912 when the US finally had decent turbines, Also in 1912 and 1913 the US only built one BB per year (Pennsylvania and Arizona) Th...

Great design but how many 8" guns? 12, 10, 8? Also, your 1945 version should have an open bridge projecting out. The US Navy like the RN open bridge to fight the air-battle. For a little while anyway. after the war they enclosed them again. See Friedman's "US Crusiers"

Great series. Especially liked the Erin (not sure about the color of the first one) but the second was the best rendition of this ship ever.

Really like this! But- have to agree with Erik T. the base of the foremast legs is too narrow. The only other thing is I like the IJN warships with the forward funnel inclined aft. Otherwise it is great technically and love the color and shading
