Some hacker will make a shitstorm of money if they develop a virus that rips off Mac users somehow. Personally, I can't wait for it to happen; too many years of listening to all those smug assholes in coffee shops have left me with a rather jaded view towards Macs... I'd prefer not to lock *nix folks (myself included) out of the game. Certainly I wouldn't discourage the use of springsharp though.

Pretty big defect to not be able to direct gunfire ahead. You might as well lose the forward gun (in favor of Memnon) entirely.

I'm well aware of SPY-1's design and requirements, thanks. If you're intending to blow marginal utility right out of the water, and play in the land of the implausible, I'd certainly rather have a very high SPY-1K (for horizon search) and a larger-antenna SPY-1A/B for better discrimination on higher...
