I guess Darth reasoned like I did: The Mk. XXII was mounted on the Nelsons(according to Navweaps), so it made sence that the G3/N3 would mount them too. I've made the turret, and especially the barbette a bit smaller, so that it fits more for a twin turret. And thanks. Becouse of the similarities b...

It is a very nice ship and all, but why the casemate mounts in the 1930's? Its a bit late for those to be in an as-built design.

I've since put all of my time into the Pacifican Fleet, and at this point, the Centennial Fleet is on the backburner. A loose background of the USP: The United States of the Pacific was the result of the Spanish-American War. The nation is located on an island in the Pacific parallel to much of the ...

also, keep in mind that the RN was kind of conservative as well (look for example at the fact that steam turbines were used on battleships only after jackie fisher took the initiative) But we're not seeing any evidence that there is any motive to accept a more practical idea, rather a totalitarian ...

Imperial Britannain Navy is rather slow to adopt Ideas it does not come up with itself as most of the admirals don't like change. That sounds more like a desperate answer just to keep your decision. Human decision like what you have stated is completely circumstantial. Everything that everyone here...

It seems promising, although the bridge seems a bit too advanced for the period. It combines different strong elements and ideas from different countries, but in a much earlier package.

It looks like you tried to downscale a RN light cruiser (C, Danae, or Emerald) in length and gun caliber and turn it into a destroyer. The thing about that is that a destroyer wouldn't be mounting 7 main guns like that. Nor would it be mounting more than 3 or 4 secondary guns, much less guns that a ...
