a very capable vessel. Very to role and look. couple of tweaks i'd consider is change the Bofors for 30mm/LMM combination. Gives a missile useable agiainst fast moving small boats and aircraft/UAV. and some drone capability. The Vessel could also be very easily used for the Caribbean hurricane guar...

Following on from my very first Shipbucket drawing - the RAF B-52K Sensor-Shooter - I've now had a go at my first ship drawing. In 2019, the UK MoD announced the intention to explore the development of class of Littoral Strike/HADR Ships, given the shifting nature of amphibious warfare to the littor...

Hi I'm very new and looking to create some of my first AU designs. Mostly modern RN ships. I'd like to understand more about radar/comms/ESM fit for my designs. I know it'll depend on the ship type and function, e.g. an AESA like Sampson for an AAW ship placed somewhere high. And I at least know tha...

1. Me, too. It also featured on early drafts of the BRAVE replenishment tanker, so it can't have to do with air Defence; if there's any explanation, it's probably in French, and my command of French is evidently too rudimentary to find it. Oh.... I thought I had seen that before. It's a control roo...

Cool. Your drawing skills are very good. I'd just think about the CONOPs and equipment fit for your variants.

Awesome design - and I love seeing it when illustrators provide an interior compartment schematic as well.

One piece of feedback I'd have is that the ship can't seem to decide what it is; is it an auxiliary, a surface combatant or an LPD?

Nice design. But, I think the coastal variant is over-armed, and in the wrong way. It's basically a SAM barge. In the air defence variant, not sure you have enough height on the flight deck for a helo. And a boat bay right next to the hangar looks very crammed. Also, lots of SAM, but no SSM? I would...

Beautifully executed drawing.

I'm curious to know what the secondary glass structure is on the forward island?

Also curious about French approaches to bridge/flyco glazing design with the thick framing between multiple panes of glass and a taper towards the top. Same on the Mistrals too.
