Wow, some incredible drawings in this thread! _______________________________________________________ Here's my idea of an alternative Scharnhorst-class Battleships: The two ships of this class were laid down in 1935 after the conclusion of the Anglo-German Naval Agreement, which in effect removed t...

Excellent drawing! One of my favourite ships in the game. The bulges seem to represent the hydrophone equipment carried by the Hippers and Scharnhorsts. Here's a nice pitcure of Adm. Hipper showing them: https://i.imgur.com/NyyvkdB.png Also, I think the struts for the main mast are fine, when compar...

Ah okay, I am (and the French are probably too ;-) ) fine with it, if its just about pure design date and its not going to be built. P.S.: The 1928 BC was just wishful thinking on Adm. Zenkers part, who thought that Germany might be able to negotiate some relaxations of the Versailles treaty. It was...

"Ships of German origin: Design date no earlier than 1928"

I think you must have ment 1935? Otherwise France might want to visit with its army...

Wow, with competition this strong, I wasn't sure, that I'd make it.
And looking at the scores it was indeed a very tight 'match'.

So, thank you very very much guys!

And well done to everyone who has participated. It was fun!

It's 95% MS paint for me.
I've become very fond of paint.net for camos and tracing of images, though.

This is top notch work, as usual!

Fantastic detailing, while keeping the drawings "clean" at the same time. Something I find a bit challanging sometimes.

Wonderful drawing, Charguizard!

I've never seen that one before. A rather handsome looking design, especially when compared to other British designs of that era... (IMHO)

Excellent work Tigerhunter & Shigure, very cool designs (and camos)! ---- @ Krakatoa: To be honest, I thought I'd save some considerable weight, when going for the 10-barrel version. (and I thought it looked cooler... :D ) When I calculated your proposal in springsharp, I found out, that it did not ...
