Yes, I saw her many years ago. Many many ago. Above the flags, the original pennant is preserved, and it's a silk piece with very complex gold decorations. That's why I haven't added any shades, it's quite difficult what it is. Although it's a replica, it is one of the few ships of the time that can...

Thank you. They' re laborious but if there' s documentation don't have special difficulty. In addition the rigs changed so much that it is not necessary to be exact either.

Now I have a project with much less documentation, of type rarely seen in Shipbucket.

Spain. Frigate Diana (1795) https://i.imgur.com/qSHHaK6.png The Diana frigate was the third in a series of 34-gun "Mahonnaise" frigates built in Mahon's arsenal at the end of the 18th century. Her real name was "Santa Ana" but it was common in the Spanish Navy to give ships another name, and the ni...

In the Naval Museum of Madrid there are many very detailed shipyard models, especially one of the Santa Ana. There are also excellent drawings (of the Bahama, the Principe de Asturias and some more) and paintings of the period.

Spain. Neptuno (1795) Thanks for the praises. I add the Neptuno. I've also corrected some mistakes. https://i.imgur.com/q0mHkgh.png The ship was barely modified during his career; its rigging seems to have diminished shortly before Trafalgar but there are no paintings to show it. On the nickname of...
