Well, I've been working on the same design for a very long time now. An fast amphibious vessel of the late 30's for my AU nation, although I'm not sure if I should show the drawing, seeing as I haven't asked two people if I could use their parts for the drawing. I am referring to boat launch davits ...

If you want Australia to start even earlier, you could speculate that they acquire the Olympic or Mauritania for conversion to a carrier, being done so in another country. If its the US, you may even get some more modern aircraft (SBD, TBD, F2A, F4F, or F5F) into the airwing.

Well, if you are going for an American aircraft, you might try the Grumman F5F, being better than the Wildcat at speed and climb rate, as well as having a fair armament. Introduced in 1940, so this would make a good piece for an early Pacific War air group. As for attack aircraft, maybe the SB2U. If...

She's looking good, Rodondo!

The AU timeline sounds like a pretty good one too!
One question, how many capital ships would Australia have?

I beg to differ, klagldsf. This is actually a pretty inspiring AU, considering the cool things coming out of Ashley's drawings. In my mind, this is actually one of the best ones I've read up on, considering that there are tons of drawings to look through, examine, and critique.

One could also speculate a "Line of Fire" in the Atlantic, almost similar to that of the "Ring of Fire" around the Pacific. But, One would then have to look at Iceland. The creation of Iceland was done by constant volcanic explosions along that part of the Mid-Atlantic Ridge. Some (I'm not sure how ...

I can only imagine what an ariel view would reveal... This is an amazing project! My AU (WIP) is playing around with the idea of this becoming an actual or never-were design, not just a fancy one that is in the imagination. I have a few questions, mainly about the hybrid sub/S-Boat tender, as well a...

That is awesome! Mr. Burke's ideas do look very attractive Shipbucket-style! And by the way, your destroyer seems like a great horror. But, sadly, I must agree that the Long Lance had lost much of its punch by 1944. Still, great work!

Well, I'm new to Shipbucket. But, I've got some experience around the world of alternate universes and histories, and am myself in the process of making my own. I've presented my ideas to various audiences, getting mixed results about my designs. Some were constructive, some were encouraging, yet ab...
