Why desert pink. Should it not be hemp? Yes, you're quite right. I was looking at a Nimrod in desert pink, without realising that the colour was only applied for desert ops. For an RAF that desperately needs a maritime patrol/SAR/ISR aircraft after the retirement/scrapping of the Nimrod. If SAR was put under contract along with SAR-H, it could be seen in HM Coastguard colours:

Nice one; amazing though, that like the Space Shuttle, these machines are now static displays in museums :( Thanks, yes it is a shame that even though it may not have been a particularly good commercial success, it would've been nice if one had been kept airworthy for displays.
