it does handle all guidance, so you can even take that illuminator midships away, althought that may come handy if you have more missiles in the air (I don't know exactly how much missiles the I-mast can guide at the same time). but the I masts are all equipped with (mostly) the same equipment, so I...

http://img525.imageshack.us/img525/4441/gunboatblue.png Uploaded with ImageShack.us I didn't intend the SeaRAM and ESSM as anti priacy weapons, mainly they were to give the vessels some sort of SAM capability which they'd been previously lacking. For dealing with pirates, the Bofors 120mm is consid...

best anti-piracy option IMO is one of the thales I-masts. they can do all you need, and have excellent abilities against small craft and swimmers. the cost might be an problem though. I have to add that essm and SeaRAM aren't the best anti-piracy systems :D an millenium gun or OTO MARLIN would be an...

The term colossus was used as common word, not as name either as nickname. Probably the best option would be "Cuniberti's Ideal Ship - 1903" or "Cuniberti's Ideal Battleship - 1903" PS: Wiki, or better all the www, is a huge container of informations...not always correct! ok, will fix then. btw, an...

the stern hangar might be a bit too massive, or is your ship very broad?
also, the screws you have put on it are most likely too modern
other then that: great work! but what type are those planes, and what is their role?

Is the name Colossus your own, or did Vittorio Cuniberti assign that to his project? I've never stumbled upon a concrete name for this project, only a project name, such as you've stated. So, if it's yours, I'd suggest a more 'appropriate' Royal Italian name, as I'm sure you can come up with! ;) - ...

I would avoid the carley ( the lifeboat) the orange one on the bow you mean? on almost all pictures, the dante is shown with it, so I thought I would put it on this one as well..... this is wrong? But Dante Alighieri is 20-30 years later and moreover during wartime. Till 1900 (roughtly) the stardar...
