Nice design. But, I think the coastal variant is over-armed, and in the wrong way. It's basically a SAM barge. In the air defence variant, not sure you have enough height on the flight deck for a helo. And a boat bay right next to the hangar looks very crammed. Also, lots of SAM, but no SSM? I would...

Beautifully executed drawing.

I'm curious to know what the secondary glass structure is on the forward island?

Also curious about French approaches to bridge/flyco glazing design with the thick framing between multiple panes of glass and a taper towards the top. Same on the Mistrals too.

Type 25 Future Surface Combatant https://i.imgur.com/CJmgeAZ.png Developed during the late 1990s and early 2000s as an advanced replacement for the Type 22 and Type 44 frigates. The roles were for air defence, anti-ship, land-attack and expeditionary force support. The design was to be highly innov...

Very nice drawing! However, I thought that this was the final MKS-180 design:

I think the concept is more than a little far-fetched for reasons we can discuss if that's of interest. Absolutely! Have at it. This is less of a real-world design (although I welcome the feedback, and the point on the engines is v interesting and well-taken), more interested in the CONOPs and why ...

By chance anyone have done the Boeing P-8 Poseidon?

This is fantastic! Thanks! A shame the real RAF P-8s won't have an IFR drogue.

Also, is there meant to be an EO/IR turret under the fuselage?

Thank you! My work was mostly tweaking and copy/pasting, as I had a great foundation to start from courtesy of the work of other contributors.

Really great! The thing that I take away from this is how 'squat' of a design the T26 is.

Hi! Long time follower here, only now have developed my first design; a kitbash of PierreDeveaux, Eswube and Deadright's awesome B-52 , into a fantasy B-52K for the UK Royal Air Force. I'll caveat that the fit-out might not be totally legit from an EM physics perspective - i.e. can you have all thos...
