Splendid drawings but what about stability with those short hulls compared to the superstructure?

Praetonia well put. The current fiscal climate in DC combined with US idebtedness to China will preclude any meaningful expansion of US sea or airpower to counter Chinese expansion. It remains to be seen if the CHINESE economy would support a major expansion.

Is she diesel-powered? She has surface raider written all over her. If I were the Allied powers I wouldn't have let her be built either as she would have been superior to anything but the three RN battlecruisers if she got into the Atlantic, as with Deutscheland but worse. It also doesn't do to thin...

HMS Indefatigable is simply excellent. Thank God for Lend Leasr as far as the air wing, but when you starve your research people between the wars that is understandable that you need modern aircraft from somewhere *sigh*

Beautiful monster bombhead, but I would have hated to be a 40mm gunner near those guns. But, that was a hazard with many ships that were upgraded with additional AA.

What are the aircraft and how many of each would it have carried?

Fighter protection and what looks like attack capabilities with the seaplanes...not a bad early carrier combo
