Looking good. Been wanting to see this redrawn for quite a while. While arguably a bit flat in comparission to some other works in the IJN section in particular, the austereness is undeniably easier on the eyes, and makes it far easier to comprehend what goes where.

Looking really good. Shading and style wise they're real beautes. I have got a few quibbles though. Firstly, on the Hans Lody 1943 drawing there's a question mark above the main D mount. Secondly, regarding the B mount on the Freidrich Echoldt 1942 drawing: You've captured the elevation nicely, but ...

Thanks for the response, folks. It's good to be back. Nigel: The project that inspired me was considered a modern take on the armoured cruiser, so that's probably what I'd call it. It's a nice, oblique term as well, that would probably lend itself well to convincing the politicians to vote it throug...

Well, I'm back with a drawing, after... Three years, I think? Been working on and off on this specimen for months. The bridge structure was for the longest time a huge pain in the rear to get right, and I think this might be the fifth from scratch iteration of it. Ah, well. Probably since the first ...

I'd forgotten how pretty the Recherche class battlecruiser was. British superstructures of the era often leave me quite divided, but this one is just plain beautiful in its functionality. I like the eclipses very much as well.

Looking pretty, Latuch. The St. Louis type cruiser and derivaties of the design are all very beautiful ships. Regarding the Springsharp report: I really think you need to do it over. 0.65 Hull strength? It should be at 1.0, unless you're making room for significant improvements in the future, in whi...

I'm not particularly knowledgable when it comes to carrier design, but there are a few things you could to do clean up the drawing. Go over the colours scheme for the superstructure. Right now it looks... Rather incoherent, like it's been cobbled together from different ships. Perhaps go over the is...

Well... A lot has been drawn, especially when it comes to the more famous vessels. That said, there is nothing preventing you from drawing a ship that has already been done before(In some cases people can get grouchy about this, but as a rule, you're free to draw what you want, as long as it is rele...

That which will gain you the most points with people is if you make comprehensive and finely executed drawings of real life vessels. As for AU:s... The thing is that most ships have already been drawn, if you get my meaning. I mean, sure, not your ships specifically, but ships close enough in design...

To answer a few of the more technical questions: You're perfectly free to use and modify any already existing drawings for your own ends, as long as you credit appropriately. You can find more information about that here . Generally people aren't very keen on drawing other people's ships for them. T...
