few comments:
too many turrets
turrets look wrong
prop guard must be placed slightly aft
shading must be added to make it shipbucket scale

those are the most obvious ones IMO, when you have fixed all this other members might take a look at it, I am not that experienced with ships of this time era

if so, then you have the colours quite right, but the brown looks a bit too dark....... :D looking forward to the update and other work.

for the colours: on roman ships, the colours were most likely chosen for the fleet/city it belonged to. but I am not sure about this, and about the phoenician ones I am really not sure. also, to show an possible colour scheme (this one is roman, it was found in pompeï) http://i830.photobucket.com/al...
