The barrels in Redhorse's drawing look a little short to be 15-inchers. Other than that, beautiful work!

And now for something completely different...

Ever notice that no matter what country, battleships from the 1930s onwards were beautiful ships?

When you draw the Momi- and Wakatake-class DEs and Minekaze-class DDs, are you also considering doing drawings showing the ships of those classes that were converted to patrol boats?

I agree...and especially during service in Chinese waters. If someone of the Flying Tigers decided to do a strafing run and scored a lucky hit...ow. Ooh, just got an idea for my AU!

I believe those were where the reloads were kept. Although reloading in battle would probably be extraordinarily dangerous.

Great drawing! Here's the ships in the class: W-19 - wrecked by aerial attack off Appari, Luzon, Philippines, 10 December 1941. W-20 - sunk by submarine U.S.S. Springer SE of Mokpo, Korea, 5 May 1945. W-21 - survived war; sunk as target in Yellow Sea, 7 October 1947. W-22 - sunk by mine off Babelthu...

Very nice! I'll try and confirm Aoba's funnel coloring on one of the IJN forums.
