IMHO the "flat" version on the right looks closer to the original. The rounded version makes it look closer to a more modern Hawk, M-311 or AlphaJet.
Granted, it doesn't look great as such, but this aircraft has never been the most elegant in its class. Best you can do with such a scale, anyway.

Did that fix the problem? Backstory has also been finalized. I would be happy to hear anyone's comments and tips. Nah, doesn't seem to change anything. The image is still scaled down, Photobucket will do that. I second the remarks on the open stern. You should probably close the lowermost deck, may...

Wow! Very nicely drawn. The ship really comes to life with that level of detail.

Nice to see this. First thing first, the image appears to be shrunken down by Photobucket, and doesn't show at full scale. If you can't cut it down to 1000 pixels width without losing part of the ship, I suggest finding another image host. Once you can show this ship in its original size, I'll be ha...

One question, independent of the drawing. Is this distribution of the cranes (what is the real difference between derrick and crane?) normal in a container ship? I mean, the huge derricks are not "stealing" space for more containers? (For example, Emma Maersk is almost unobstructed from forecastle ...

The overall drawing is a good start, but I feel that it lacks detail to some extent. I understand the dearth of sources, but the picture posted above shows several superficial differences: the legs of the cranes, the solid railing aft, the shape of the stern hull, the cable support for the cranes, t...

Methinks you might need more fuel, I'm sure those gas turbines are going to be thirsty beasts. Fair point, but please consider that the plan views don't include the bilge keel volume. The underwater part of the sponsons thins down, so there must remain some space between the lowest deck and the kee...

Following Heuhen's comments above on the transmission layout of the hover systems of Pr.2238 - and the ensuing epiphany on the sheer retardedness of my original full-shaft configuration, I have touched up the deck plans to: - Remove the fan driveshafts from the main deck and their gearboxes - Move t...

Well, I second my own opinion on the British destroyer thread; these are just as good on all levels!

Nicely-drawn little ships. The detail level is as high-grade as usual, and the relief work on the bow gives them a distinctive touch.
