this is beginning to look like the finished product. a lot of detailing still has to be done, and the searchlights and rigging need to be placed on the masts, and I still have to do a lot details...... but this will be close to what it will be in the end. http://fc09.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2010/301/e...

only one comment: I hope this ship has another powerplant then the (original?) steam engine. if there was an steam engine on board, the smoke from the funnel would make the SMART-L useless. other then that: WELL DONE, it looks great!

The Grumman Avenger does not look quite like itself. the aircraft next to it look more like Douglas Skyraider AWE. he Fairey Firefly look wronf. The Sikorski S.56 looks more like Westland Wessex (British version with turbine engine, unlike the the Sikorski which used piston engine). See Here for th...
