Turret height is fine, it just looks disproportionately tall because it's not a particularly long turret like you see with most western tanks. The gun is small, though. What sort of muzzle energy is this thing supposed to have? Given the apparent size I would guess it's rather extreme, so you would expect to see large capacitor banks somewhere. Also, the recoil of this thing is enough that you'll probably want to give this thing some sort of thruster pack to shove ...

That ground pressure is actually quite high for a combat vehicle; even the Maus had a lower ground pressure than that.
