APDAF has generously agreed to draw it...basically the flag as I envision it consists of the standard Nazi eagle in gold on a scarlet background (the same shade of red as on the Nazi flag to give you an idea of the shade), but instead of a wreathed swastika, the bird is holding a down-pointing Sword...

Very nice! With as lengthy as the forecastle is, might another turret fit there?

BTW: when might we get a glimpse of the timeline for this AU? Still working on it, I hope! I know I'm looking forward to reading it!

Yes, the Kidd has 40-mil. Bofors and 20-mil. Oerlikons. Saw them on an episode of "Sons of Guns".
