I can remember living in Nowra when I was posted to HS817 Squadron at HMAS Albatross. It was a common occurence to see (and hear) the RNZAF Skyhawks flying in the local airspace and over Jervis Bay playing wargames with RAN and RNZN fleet units. What a magic little aircraft they were. I am really loving this thread (probably my favorite to date). The levels of creativity here is amazing and although not practical at times these designs are a real joy to see and I look forward to every new post.
