Phillip McCutchan never had much of an imagination, his work was more on quantity than quality. His hero was always taking on monstrous odds and winning. They are like the Commando Comics of old. I've never read him for the stories, but rather to see just what he comes up with for the bad guys... Y...

I am impressed, I will admit though that when I read the novel I imagined a Battle ship with a single funnel, like the Scharnhorst herself. The Germans made the Admiral Hipper Class cruisers look like the Bismark class battleships to confuse the enemy and whenever an author describes a fictional bat...

In reply to a private message by OnionSpider13 (For some reason I've still unable to reply to private messages.)

The novel the 'Super Scharnhorst' appears in is 'Hunted' by Philip McCutchan which was originally published under the title of 'Cameron's Chase' in 1986

Just to let everyone know I'm still updating the other listing on the Secret Projects forum, the link below takes you to the start of the thread, where possible I've tried to point out things that might be suitable for pictorial representation. http://www.secretprojects.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,2...

Krakatoa

Got your PM, cannot reply yet by PM, supposedly I have not 'participated' enough to do so. Editing the Denmark Strait scenario is part of it, but I also need to edit the Bismark herself to simulate a specific 'modification' from the 'List of Ships in Fiction'.

Hope that helps.

Action Stations is 'Abandonware' so can be sourced for free from places like Abandonia and other sites. If you do like WW1 & 2 battles then it is worth a play with. If you have some skills with PC's you should be able to work out how to add more ships to the ship register. All those AU ships you ha...

Hi, I am looking for a good naval combat simulation program covering the WWI - WWII period (not World of Warships) that allows warship/scenario customisation. The last one I know of was a 1990's DOS based program called 'Action Stations' but I am looking for something a bit more recent. I am thinkin...

Impressive, now I have a request courtesy of a novel I have just read which features a 'Super-Scharnhorst' as the major enemy surface unit, a triple turret for the 406cm SK L/47 C/54
