I've moved the entire superstructure.
I don't see any cranes on Britannic or the two liners posted earlier at all?

I've updated the design again, made it so the lifeboats don't lower onto a deck.

And there would be lifeboats between the ones visible, maybe two 5 meter long boats between each.

As I said before, the Titanic never happened in this AU, so it was never required that there be enough lifeboats for all people.

I added cranes in this last edit.

Also: would the ship not be more balanced due to having two cargo holds in the bow?

I seem to remember that Titanic and it's sister ships had a dummy funnel just to make the ship seem bigger?

I based quite a bit of the design off the Britannic, which is of the time period. Edit: There would be more lifeboats between the ones visible. Oh, I forgot to update the image for this thread.

The space problem was fixed, the searchlight/funnel problem will be fixed in a refit, since I've seen similar problems on real ships.

And because design flaws add character when they don't make the ship sink and/or explode.
