Granted that the Typ 1936 had two range-finders and two radars, however this are comletely different systems. The 1936 destroyer had 5 main gun turrets, and used the range-finders for fire-control, while the rafars were for search only, the radar aft of the second funnel is for back-up. Your 1944 to...

Excellent work Alex. This is truely a master piece, so much in line with the old Dutch masters.
As commented by Colosseum and Golly hull shading in merchant ships is not Shipbucket style

Torpedo tubes can be mounted on each beam, giving the same broadside, but double the number of torpedoes. Also loose the 12.7mm and 20mm and go for a uniform armament of 40mm guns, which will give you more lethality agains aircraft, in that time-frame.

Ashley I realy enjoy looking at this thread, and so I would loke to comment on your 1944 Torpedoboot.
I find it strange that it has two fire-control directors on the bridge (with radar). Most ships of that size in that time period, had only one director if any. Apart from that it looks good.
