Note that both Boston and Canberra (CAG-1 and CAG-2) were (re)commissioned with only two missile fire control channels. That's with 144 Terriers below decks!

The screw is not up to the standard of the rest of the drawing, which is excellent.

The former is a discage antenna of the type usually associated with the USN Naval Tactical Data System. The type is omnidirectional and able to transmit and receive over a wide HF band. My body of reference has nothing on the matter. At least, nothing definitely better than you've already figured. Presumably partially due to the heavy nuclear role attached to ABL, I've never found a great deal of information on the GMLS. Whatever you find out, I'd love to hear it. I'll keep looking.

Nice work. I might move the light-vs-dark-gray divide down a segment or two, but that's my only real gripe. Well, turn the white into the lightest of grays too. So two complaints.

Otherwise, very nice work.

IIRC the machinery for the Mk-13 was left in place as balast. All they would need to do is re-attach the launcher arm. This is in line with my understanding. All they did is remove the above-decks components, and parts-kit the under decks fiddly bits as needed. One does wonder, though, what anti-su...

In principle, there's no reason that an active-kill antitorpedo system couldn't work (although the viscosity of water implies that any plausible system would have more in common with RAM than Phalanx). However there are a huge number of incredibly challenging engineering problems associated with suc...

I noticed that you changed the shape of the above-deck parts, and I noticed that you just dropped a completely different system onto the hull almost as if it had zero below-decks impact. Is that what you mean?
