Yeah, first of all, there are like zero good references on this particular ship. Second of all, what you are using currently certainly does not count as a suitable reference. I'd at the very least would look through any referenced links in the Wikipedia article as a good start, or use the resources ...

Ostensibly it's because he was a major player in nuclear submarine development - apparently he was a chief engineer on a nuke boat and in a high-up position in the civilian side of the nuclear program, or something like that. I'm sure Wikipedia has a few facts not pulled from random asses.

I would replace the 40s with RAM launchers. I would add some 25mm guns somewhere convienient if you want to take out small boats.

Why the hell does the Destiny class have nearly the same copter deck space as an LHD? And why does it have a VLS bay and the hangar occupying the same space?
