What about catamaran and trimaran type ships? Say dating back as far as the 19th century. I mean Robert Fulton designed a catamaran floating battery before the War of 1812, to defend New York harbor.which was built.
It's a remarkable drawing. You know I find it interesting that the Bellerophon is classified as a central battery ironclad, but the only picture I can find which is on Wikipedia, shows her to be more of a broadside ironclad.
I'm surprised no one has done anymore warships from the age of sail. I mean except for a few frigates and the HMS Victory. Would love to see some others like the USS Pennsylvania, and other American ships of the line. Or some British or French ships from the French Revolution and Napoleonic Wars.
