Very nice looking design indeed, smart too.
I would personally have given the design a tripod foremast but that's just my own personal taste.
Oh, and I like the twin funnel design more, looks sleeker.

Well I've had a productive day and finished the R 00 Class destroyers as well. They are supposed to be the first ships designed and built for the Sieranian Republic Navy with the first Commissioning in 1908. They were based heavily upon the three destroyers which the Navy 'inherited' from the remnan...

SRN Lazarev, Sieran's first Aircraft Carrier (as she appeared after refits and with her new air group in 1938); http://i267.photobucket.com/albums/ii294/raptorva/SRNLazarev.png My first attempt at drawing an aircraft carrier. She is supposed to have been designed as a merchant ship but taken over by...

Thats a tidy looking battleship.I can't help feeling she would look better with equal height funnels. :geek: The idea behind the history of these ships is that the forefunnel was raised to keep soot from the bridge structure (during planning these ships were to have been coal powered but converted ...

Well I finally got around to completing my drawing and springsharp details for my Anadyr class dreadnoughts which were laid down in 1914 but not completed until 1917 after modifications had been made to the initial design to take into account knowledge learned from the Battle of Jutland in 1916. htt...

http://i267.photobucket.com/albums/ii294/raptorva/R00ClassDestroyer.png Still very much a WIP with more details and adjustments to be made as well as the finishing of the springsharp sim (I've almost got it done, just need to refine my deck arrangements in it). This class depicts the R 00s, the fir...

Updated the thread title and the first post to include information about the nation and the history of its Navy as well as providing a map showing its location and geography and links to the external resources I have been writing.

I couldn't find any good deck guns to use for this that would work and also fit the pre-WW2 time period of the boat, hence why I just gave it a 20mm for the deck gun. I considered adding an MG mount on the rear conning tower but again can't find a good part that is of decent size (maybe the mount ca...

Thanks for that photo. I've been searching for hours for good refs of subs in arctic or north sea style camouflage (considering the Bering Sea shouldn't need all that much different style). All I've really found is a couple vague U-boat schemes which are disputable due to lack of actual colour evide...
