Please note: There is a new version of Dropbox. When downloading and installing Dropbox it no longer creates the 'Public' and other folders used in the original version. (Talking about Public folder to people trying to use the new version will only confuse them.) Download and install Dropbox - it cr...

From a quick look and cut/paste from RN sheet it looks like your barrels are too short, 8"/50 will be 33.5 ft, 67 pixels, about 40 pixels would show as barrel, you only have 31 pixels showing. Barrel on the 8" mk2 on RN sheet has 37 pixels.

I've been sitting here trying to think of superlatives to praise your drawing Rowdy36. Those 4.5" turrets look very good. The 8" turrets look like late model RN turrets of the time, as the others have said the guns in them look like 6". The 40mm singles look non-standard as well but in a good way. T...

Howdy JSB, Bring 'em on. No reason not to have questions. 1. The HACS on the batch 1 ships with 4x4 is probably ok, On the batch 2 ships it can probably also be used to control the 2pdr quads more than the 4". Not needed on the B3 ships as the 40mm had their own system tied to the radar. 2-4. The 4"...

Howdy Heuhen, That is only Norway in real life, what they might do in another universe far, far, away is open to interpretation. I have thought of Norway buying one of the 13.5" BB's that had to be scrapped after the treaties. That would make a pretty good coast defence ship. :) The 'Trawler' bow wa...

Since I seem to be fairly active at the moment, here's one everyone can have a comment on. The Australis Navy was looking to expand its Navy by the addition of an aircraft carrier. Funds were not available to build a purpose built ship so the Australis Navy went looking for a merchant ship that they...

JSB In my other world from the Congo level down is all "Southern Africa" a Commonwealth self determining Dominion from 1919. The UK goes wild in the 17-1800's with massive expansion and annexing of various other countries colonies as those countries choose the wrong sides against the British Empire ...

In the General SB forum is a thread "What would you like to see" - well two glaring holes in the RN cruiser line appears to be the 'D' and 'E' class cruisers and their variants with twin turrets. As part of my Iberian forces were a design I did for escorting cruisers for the Reina Eugenia Victoria b...
