Has anybody had a go at placing a Country Infobox at the top? I've tried it twice (once by copying from an RL country and the other copying the template), and filled in what I could but each time I do a preview, I get this massive wall of red text and it just does not work. Any thoughts on this?

First off, it is very important to punctuate. Not every member here speaks English as a first language, but it is important to type as clearly and concisely as possible. Second, you can still register on the old forum. Third, I'm not exactly sure what you're driving at with the tutorials. You imply ...

:D Well to be honest, while I prefer Boeing over Airbus, Boeing sucks too. The reason I don't like either of them is that essentially they have a duopoly on the airliner market. That's not cool. I miss the good ol' days where there were more choices and you didn't have to choose between two large mu...

@swin_lad - Nah. Shouldn't be too bad. It'll be like flying the B-36, which a pilot once said "it's like sitting on your front porch and flying your house around." Plus, one engine out of ten? @Krakatoa, Apdsmith, Yep! The blasted thing is huge! It has a larger wingspan than that of the 747-8i (does...

Thanks Adam! Odysseus, I already did look at the Tu-142 and it got me nowhere. I based that front radar dome off of the Tu-16K-10, a Soviet Navy missile carrier, but I'm still not sure what to do with the rest of it. Concerning horsepower, I did some calculations. The B-36 has 40,000hp (including it...

The more and more I tried to make something out of the Condor, I started to realize how badly it was drawn. There were a lot of things wrong with the first design, so I've redesigned everything but the tail (excluding the tail gunner). https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/sap9vvpiwzizwkw/Model_187_B-...

-The refueling aircraft will likely be based on an airliner, like the 707. -Like I said, the recon variant is based on the RB-36. -I do need to draw the AShMs and ASuM that will be held on the wings. Apdsmith, nope. I drew this a long time ago and I like the way it looks with all the engines in line...

Once again, I've modified the Model 187. I've added a fuel probe at the nose like the Tu-95, created a Reconnaissance version like the RB-36, and I have plans for a maritime variant. I also https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/f9rbgignfj9xs8g/Model_187_B-12_Condor.PNG?dl=0 https://dl.dropboxuserconte...

There will be a set of 4 thrusters at the nose, and a set of 4 at the very bottom, just before the engine exhaust opening. The plan is to have the rocket accelerate up to ~0.15c for about 5 days at 1g force, coast for 5 days (or whatever is required), turn towards the opposite direction and decelera...

Thanks Charybdis! Right now, the story itself is in the planning stages (as well as my composition skills. Still working on that). I'm preoccupying my time with the technical stuff and that also makes it more fun, figuring this stuff out ;) . It's hard to come up with an original story idea, as ther...
