Some update Yesterday I was informed by Sailor82 that he made my last Edenton drawing into the WMEC Alex Haley. He made a lovely drawing, including underwater hull. So thanks to him, I was able to further develop my ATS-1 version, although I currently have not much time. For now only the two version...

I just took a look at his Photobucket album and I think almost all the good stuff there was made other sb members and not himself.

BTW I wonder who made the C-119 there. It is better than my version.

Oh, I do know what the SPY-1 is. I just meant that I'm familiar whit the way it has to be operated. So thank you for mentioning the impractical angle of the forward array. I will think about correcting it.
Maybe you guys can show me other mistakes I might have done.

When I made this design years ago, I did not really thought about the way the systems work.
BTW I'm still not familiar with the SPY-1.

Wonderfull drawing. But the flight deck looks so reddish. Was that the actual color of the wooden deck?
