I mean yes this is the forms obviously, but all of the planning for this challenge and many others happens on the discord server for ease of convenience, plus the inclusion of multiple non-standard scales was approved by Colo and Golle, as long as individual scales comply with the standard SB style...

that might be true on the forums, but on the discord server there are quite a few different non-standard scales that people like to draw trains in, kiwi made that particular judgement with that in mind, which in my opinion is a good thing, because it opens up the challenge to a wider audience

They are very nice drawings indeed, although I feel that they look some what unfinished and very bland looking, another thing that someone pointed out to me on the discord is that there is a distinct lack of overhang shading in many areas with the biggest examples being the turrets.
