I think she changed names from Almirante Barroso to Barroso during her career, but I'm not sure. *Checks out* You're right, Almirante Barroso was a previous ship, sunk in 1893 during a midshipmen circumnavigation cruise. The Elswick cruiser always was named Barroso.
The 4" mounts look a little too small, especially when near the 40mm mounts; of course, it probably looks like that because the 40mm mounts are too big...
Looks good, a bit underarmed for the displacement, but I guess you chose speed and protection. Just a question: why do you have bulges? I'd expect them in a reconstruction, not in a new ship.
Here`s the E-50M. The gearbox was moved from the fron to the back of the tank, making a redesign of the stern a necessity. I'd like to note the E-50M isn't exactly a real project.
