In the 1997 Ed of Warship these designs are describe in the Article "Eight Six inch guns in Pairs" by Ken McBride gestation of the Leander design a very interesting article

These drawing real put a bit of meat on the article, good stuff Hood

Its difficult to describe how stupid/idiotic was the decision by the Australian government (Navy wanted Arleigh Burke ) not to buy of the shelf Arleigh Burkes after building 50-60 of them the USN may have ironed out any problems / design issues, there is no weapon system integration risks, off cours...

Mainly trying to stay fit - I like bushwalking ( that Australian for hiking) always interesting for a 62 year old with a couple of dodgy knees planning a 8 day 150k walk at Easter trying figure how to fit 8 days food in to the pack!!
