WWII44, I saw your USS Monitor! That's the drawing that got me thinking about some of the others! The others you did are no longer pictured on the thread (nor in the Real Ships section). I've been a "monitor freak" for ages. Built a couple R/C versions back in the late 1980's. A 1/4"=1' Passaic (Com...

Colo, What time period interests you for these ships? They ALL went through significant cosmetic changes. OK and one or two sank. Just got home and broke out Chapelle. They are all there as expected but the spectacular hull plans are split onto 2 pages. I can't quite squish them down enough to get a...

Thanks Novice, That was all of 30 minutes. Much of it looking for a useable digitized drawing and wondering what's become of the boat over the last 33 years. It was fiberglass with built in floatation, storage, and fittings for an upscale race rig. Much better that the plywood versions so it just mi...

Most or all the original 6 in Chappell are double page drawings based or traced from the surviving original plans. Down side (from memory) is they have the page split down the middle. Lovely drawings though!

The hull plans and I think masting are available for the USS Merrimack so you can get a well referenced hull for the Virginia. The best available data for the armored citadel is all based on contemporary descripition and artwork as I recall...and some recovered bits. Having said all that I'll assume...

This one's just for fun... Seems like a thousand years ago but the first boat I bought as a kid was a Sailnetics El Toro. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/El_Toro_%28dinghy%29 http://i1016.photobucket.com/albums/af282/craigh666/AC%2072/ElToroV2_zps98da4030.png 8 feet of fun. Simple to sail, and a bunch ...

Raxar, Thanks!

Edited the last image above to include your suggested text.

Anyone with any complaints? I'd like to wrap up and submit.
