Assuming your hangar sided are one pixel-wide, that it will work. Hangars tend to get clattered along the walls. If you look at a car's garage, you'll se what I mean. Also consider the effect of the helocopters rotors spinning side-by-side, on each other. Altough you have more than enough width for ...

MitcheLL300 is the true artist here, but all faults are mine, as I took up on his work. http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv51/novice99/BBLyon-1.png Do tell what you think. Normandie is next BTW Edit: Have made some modifications, not least was the underwater torpedo-tub...

Nuclear powered is it? Otherwise that many systems would not function. The electrical need for this monster, and it's pure guesswork here, can be compared to a city, say like Salisbury?

The douglas Skyraider had so many variants that it is impossible to count on one's fingers. Apart from the basic single seat attack-aircraft, there were early warning, Vip transport and many other multi-seat variants.
BTW Blackbuck, this is a very nice sheet.

The Australian DDL was started in 1964/1965 (the OHP was not even in design stage then), with the intention of building one in 1966 at the very earliest. The'Capability creep' delayed the program again and again, making the RAN gettin the OHP in the end something like 20 years later.

The radar is most probably a Plessey design, as Australia had the ship designed in the UK.
In the ols Shipbucket forum there was a thread (cann't remember where) which discussed the same topic. There is also a fine picture in Conwa's book of fighting ships 1947-1982.
