I've always thought it should be up to the folks who live on the islands, but honestly it's none of my business. For us Poms the book to get from your local library is 'Singapore Burning' by Colin Smith; it gives the best 'blow by blow' description of the POW and Repulse sinkings. Sorry, I'm going o...

Alrighty. It shouldn't be a problem to run a halyard behind the foremast.

Ensign behind the foremast, jack on the fantail? And does anyone know where to find the Argentinian ensign?

Also curious about the helicopter camouflage, does it look correct?

An outstanding drawing, Ian! You really have done justice to GB. The only nitpick I've got is that you've got a naval jack at the fore peak, nothing wrong with that; but there's no ensign hoisted any where on the ship. Damn! Any idea where the ensign should go? None of my references really showed t...

Probably some pretty terrible things, as not a lot of modern warships can stand up to 6" shells...

Seriously, it seems to me like I've seen 3/4ths of the "free" blueprints on there in copyrighted materials before.

You have to admire the courage of the Argentinians, pitting the Belgrano against what they'd know were local enemy nuclear submarines. The sinking has been a hot topic here ever since, with both arguments, pro and con over the sinking. Of course, the loss of life was deeply regreted by most thinkin...

Personally I wouldn't mind seeing this website taken down.

I found my USS Guam, stripped of credits, on The Blueprints.

I found a fairly sketchy website that listed the Belgrano's radar fit as the "LW-08 and DA-08"; unfortunately, I don't think this is entirely correct as ALVAMA pointed out how the foremast main radar looked a lot like the LW-02. I'm far from an expert on foreign navies' radar (or even USN radar at t...
