Hello all. I'm fairly new to the bucket. I came her because I liked to draw fictional ships with paint. I liked to try to make my ships look like a real ship that someone had taken a real picture off. I've spent the last year or so learning the Shipbucket standard and now I've used that to make my o...

I really like the look of this ship. Thank you sir :) I really appreciate it So I hit a artistic wall with my ship so I had a little fun.... http://i996.photobucket.com/albums/af89/sabotage181/ffgx90xspy-5-5-1water.png~original I'll keep working on this until it looks like a real picture of a real ...

The fire control director you used is the Sagem EOMS NG , right? it would be great since you have an EO FCS and an IRST in one system. Thank you Judah, I have actually been looking for this system for a while and found it on Mihoshik, MConrads, gunship and Colosseum's North Point Ardent Class (beau...

Okay, here goes nothing. Since you've stuck a "USA" on there, I'm willing to assume that she should fit with standard US doctrine and the like. Moving sort of aft-to-forward... I only see a trunk for a single ship-service generator, and it's in the main engine room. This isn't enough power, and eve...

Looking pretty slick! Thank you again lebroba :) Now this looks 110% better than the original. You've retained the smart lines but now it looks like a real warship with presence. Perhaps not cheap and mass-producible but certainly a decent FFG. Thank you hood, we will talk about inexpensive and mas...

I'm really liking this ship! Thank you Lebora, I'm always happy for complements :) I honestly don't get why you need so many 30mm mounts. Most destroyers in the world only carry 2 20-30mm mounts... Thank you Balckbuck.(the following statement is pure alternate historical fiction) To answer your que...

A handsome ship, sabotage181 . If only the United States Navy could afford to build 19 of them to replace the Ticonderoga -class guided-missile cruiser as originally planned for CG(X). Much nicer than the BMD ship based on the San Antonio -class LPD. I presume that this design will be dubbed Virgin...

I like this, but I think the previous version still has potential. What if you swap the amidships VLS and the hanger and landing pad? The midships location is better for helo operations and having the VLS aft eliminates interference with the engine room. I think it would also help the aft freeboard...
