I love the B-52s. Do you have any plans of fielding B-1A/B? I don't think anyone has drawn one yet, though.

I love both the design, and the backstory--am looking forward to hopefully seeing more vessels of this nation!

Thanks for the clarification on that! I always found it odd that a company renowned for FACs, like Lurssen would need to build a French design. I think my misunderstanding came from a poorly worded Wiki article on one of the German series of boats.

Not a bad try, but I based that design off of some unbuilt German boats, the 147 Klasse, "Einheitsplatforms" with a strictly AU layout of electronics. These vessels are probably closer to the Saar II, than I. I understand how some of the confusion could have occurred, however, as the Saar, and Germa...

My reasoning behind choosing Sea Slug in later ships is primarily because I wanted to use Sea Dart. I thought that if I went for Terrier or Tartar on early ships then realistically their replacements would likely be armed with SM-1s. I'll give it a ponder on the weekend and play around with some id...

Hmm... when I get some time I might look into a Sea Slug conversion then and see what I can come up with. I don't know how committed you are to Sea Slug, or all-British armament postwar, but personally, I think that Terrier might be a better way to go, and maybe even a bit more aesthetic, though I ...

This is a refined adaptation of the C version that I did up in the Nationstates version of Pallamara's colors. What looks like a star on the roundel is actually a star fort:

http://www.shipbucket.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=148392#p148392 Shazam. Must say, the Yorck was fun to play but the Hipper is so much better at being a cruiser. Thanks for the link. From what I can tell, the German line of cruisers on the whole seem to fall into the "glass cannon" category. My feel...

My poor craptop would never handle it, but I love watching the replays on Youtube, with Jingles and the rest of the gang. I think my favorite from an aesthetic viewpoint has to be Yorck, though I wonder what design she's really based on? I wouldn't mind seeing someone on here do her, if they haven't...

I'm not an expert by any means, though I should note the Japanese in the early 30s, or so had problems with their vessels from too many guns and too much superstructure. After having a torpedo boat that they tried to cram destroyer armament on, capsize, they had to go back and lighten a number of ve...
