I don't buy the Sea Tornado for several reasons; The Sea Tornado would have had to been designed in the early 1970s when Tornado itself was developed, that puts it in the same timeframe in both design and first flights as the Hornet. Never assume anything. Sure in 1991 there might still be two CVA carriers, perhaps alternating between reserve and active but within a couple of years there would likely only be one (maybe a couple of Invincibles too). Keep in mind the Moskva hullform trimmed bow heavy and seakeeping was poor. Also keep in mind both ended up retired before their time by the Soviets.
Hullform is no excuse for poor freeboard.

Very nice cruiser, certainly it fits the early 1930s traditions of British cruisers very nicely. I quite like the use of the engine room belt, persumably the magazines have their own internal armouring and of course deck armour.
