Well, how did you define what was shaded and what was not? Did you use an angle or anything like that as definition? Well, for the underwater hull, I attempted to use the 45 degrees rule for the shading - the hull does taper quite sharply as it moves toward the bow, as you can see in the photos. To...

One small comment on all these: are you sure the shading on the hull is accurate? there seems to be such an abrubt end of the shading forwards and the shading on the bow suggests an very extreme flare, of which I can find little evidence on pictures (but I only took like 2 minutes for that) Btw, do...

These are really fantastic drawings, I love the attention to detail. They really are quite large frigates, much larger than looking at a picture of one might lead you to believe. The French Navy really had some of the most interesting and unique-looking vessels of the Cold War era, I'm glad to see s...

And we're back, nearly six months later, with installment number two! After starting a new job back in June, I found my spare time severely diminished, but I've finally gotten around to finishing this series of drawings. Thanks for all your patience in the meantime! Part Two: Restigouche - class Des...

Really interesting concepts here. I've always thought that something like the Imperial Federation would be an interesting jumping-off point for an AU scenario, with the various Commonwealth/Federation states maintaining their own sovereignty and having their own parliaments, being equal in status to...

Really great work here, especially for a new artist. However, there is no requirement for you to give anyone credit for a colour scheme. Additionally, the Mi-38 drawing might benefit from having the rotors added, as that seems to be common practice.

Looking forward to seeing more in the future!

Wow, fantastic work! Love seeing the evolution of these vessels over the years. The Tourvilles have been missing from the 'bucket for some time!

Wow - fantastic work! Comparing these older drawings from the early days of Shipbucket to the latest drawings being produced is always so interesting. Things have certainly come a long way. It does seem kind of odd to me to use the out-of-scale, slightly enlarged Sea Sparrow and RIM-116 missiles, bu...
