Hi Regia Marina: Good beguining with your AU nation! May I make some comments about your ironclad? First of all, in 1871 the disaster of HMS Captain was still very fresh in the mind of all naval designers. I think that the metacentric high in CS Terror is excesive. Furthermore, the towers are of the...

Hi Hood, Hi Fisherman:
I agree. I think that it is a somewhat wet bow, and you will need more freeboard there.
One question, Hood. For that kind of hull, what will be the best way get a higher bow? A flush decker design or a raised forecastle? Thanks and cheers.

Hi, Rhade. I really think that the designer, in this case Redhorse, has an idea for his designs taking in consideration the particularities of his AU. That is the reason of my question: I want to know the idea/ ideas behind the raised forecastle! ;) , and also the color of the torpedo tubes. Cheers.

Hi Redhorse: May I ask why your torpedo tubes are painted in green? And also one structural question about your destroyer: Is your raised forward castle englobing the bridge (probably a somewhat more dry approach to the the wet turtle deck), leaving the pilot wheel exposed to the elements, shrapnell...

Hi Odysseus: Yes, that`s the gun! 4 british guns, 2 in Malta and 2 in Gibraltar. The most similar gun and mount with a good level of detail that I have is the much smaller 12.5 inch (in both parapet and dwarf central pivot carriages). These pics are very helpful, specially the ones in color (but I,m...

The 9.2 inch BL, in and searching for the fantastic 100 tonnes RML. Out of Malta, 12 inch 47 tons BL in yoke mount, as used in the Portsmouth forts.
