Hi all! With special permission from Golly: Rurik II, Russia's last armoured cruiser as completed only with main mast with foremast retrofitted after wartime reconstruction with tripod mast and AA guns (the latter were mounted at the beginning of the war already) For the last one, I only had a single photograph; if anyone has more, please dump it on me. In particular, all written sources mention two submerged torpedo tubes, but I found no picture or drawing at all which shows them. Cheers GD |

Pay attention, the AA guns in 1917-1918 look as 63mm/38 cal guns

1/3

2 x 457mm torpedo-tubes (with M1908 torpedo, later replaced by M1912 model)Hard to find it on pics 2/3 But I found it 3/3 |

Fantastic work, as usual. Do you plan to use that incredible bunch of OTL design you gave us those last few month in your AU? (Your armoured cruiser LT Muirbhreid had a very Austro-Hungarian mood to me, so i guessed we would soon see designs from that long gone nation) |

Hi all! @Colombamike: Thank you very much, I've added the torpedo tube. As for the AA refit, sources - as usually - differ; Conway says 1 - 40mm, Navypedia says 1 - 40mm and 2 - 47mm. Your 1918 photograph shows 2 guns which might be 47mm on the rear turrets (at about 45° elevation, so they're AA) and something that might or might not be a single 40mm aft. I've decided to go with that version. @waritem: I've not yet decided which ships will be included in the Mexican Empire AU, but it will be a mix of (mostly) Austrian and (some) British designs. A turbine-Rurik with 12 240mm Skoda guns will certainly feature. Cheers GD |

Some small (tiny, microscopic...) flaws: There's seem to be somme parasit white pixels on the bottom of the rudder , and shadding seem to be reverted (clear at the rear, dark at the front) on the upper part of the rear conning tower. |
