One more from the MARAD program.
Like the previous ship I posted this one was also operated by a subsidiarry of the Bethlehem Steel co. These ships were ore carriers, used to carry the iron ore from Chile to the steel mills in Baltimore (Sparrows Point in fact)
Here she is, the C5 ore carrier (only 8 built in total)

More than a few nice drawings in there. Novice, I think you've got quite a fine handle on the shading necessary to give an understanding of a merchie hull.

I don't know much about these MARAD merchant vessels, but I think you've made some excellent drawings. My compliments :P

This was the first coastal passenger ship class designed and built entirely in Poland. It consisted of 10 vessels that were built between 1961 and 1964.

A classic ship from a long gone era of sea travel and commerce.

[ img ]

This ship was one of four built to carry both passengers and goods between the UK and South America, Argentina mostly. Built just after WW2 they served for about 17 years before retirement.
