what exactly is the definition of a ship then? I would think it would be if it was classified as one.
my opinion is that it is an shipbucket drawing. if it belongs entirely in this thread...... yes, that I might agree on, would not be ideal, and I might better have put it in it's own thread.

I will just call it and seagoing Vessel. "But I don't see the reason for making a bus that can go on water, we do have something called a ...boat" I can see for me Jeremy Clarkson and co say!

While I am not going to try to argue with Admins/Moderators about any official decision they make, I'd say that in this particular case of Amfibus, while strange and somewhat "stretching the limits", it seems ok to be allowed to stay here.

The Research Vessel Sanna was built by Karstensen's Shipyard in Skagen, Denmark for the Greenland Institute of Natural Resources. Her main purpose is to investigate the fish grounds along Greenland’s coast, as well as research pertaining to climate change.

Ace, You don’t miss anything, do you? :)

Well, I don’t know much about bilge keels or even if there are types that have proper names. But I know the one of Sanna has holes…
