Good evening, guys.

During the Pandemic, the Navy signed a deal with V. Sundin Dockstavaret for the local construction of the CB-90HSM. Two were made in mid-2022, and another pair in December 2023. The 4 CB-90s are operated by the Coast Guard, but are painted in the Navy gray. Shown here, the first of the second pair, BAP Colán, armed with a 7.62x51 GPMG.

Good evening, guys.

Cahuapanas was/is a steam, iron-made launch built in France in 1872. Privatelly owned, was adquired by the Navy in the early XX Century, and used as a transport in the Amazon basin, but during the short lived wars against Colombia (1932) and Ecuador (1941) was armed with a pair of 3 pounder guns. Paid off in the 1970s, once again was privatelly owned, renamed MV Clavero and modified with a diesel engine instead the reciprocating steam engine, and is currently being used as a cruiser boat, from Iquitos.
