After the disaster, the Townsend Thoresen name was quickly removed and the first ship of the class, SPIRIT OF FREE ENTERPRISE was renamed PRIDE OF KENT and given a new livery. |

In 1991, PRIDE OF KENT was "jumboised" in the Italian Fincantieri shipyard and a section of 33m was added to the ship. It was later renamed POSL KENT after P&O merged with Stena Lines. I don't have detailed sources for this vessel so the drawing is a bit bland. |

...and now on to the final step, her Greek refit as the ANTHI MARINA! http://www.shipspotting.com/gallery/pho ... id=1446714 (that is obviously the wrong side, but it gives one an idea) Maybe the following sequence of pictures of the stretching of the PRIDE OF KENT could help you "spice up" the drawing a bit: http://www.naviearmatori.net/eng/album-213-1.html |

Thanks a lot! I'm not too please with PSOL KENT though, If anyone has any detailed pix of the main deck, I'd be happy to see them. The photos of Anthi Marina are great, thank you. |

photo by Michael Manoudakis A sad view!!!...Just today the ANTHI MARINA being towed to scrapyard at Aliaga Turkey!...the last goodbye... a ship that never give to her enough time to prove her abilities in the Greek waters... She sold by banks for scrap after the colaps of her company GA Ferries |
