Since there is a lack of WWI era American battleships, I thought I`d make them. The South Carolina has already been made and there is an old version of the Delaware without the uderwater hull.

its a good start...
I suggest that since You've for some reason applied the basic shading techniques into the foremost conning tower, but ommited it from everywhere else, It would make better drawing if there is some sort of inconsequent method used in all parts of the ship.
Also, since the gage-masts are rather solid structures, they should be made of black color in the drawing.

Golly, I shall fix the shading and the mast. Panda, if you want me to I shall fix up the New Mexico. I start at the bottom and work my way up the list. So far I might do all the ships from Delaware up to the New Mexico class.

Are you refering to the barbettes, or the casemates?

well it applies to all thing rounded...but the barbettes mainly. The idea of the shading is that it should be same for same shape everywhere, thats way you get the uniformity into the drawing and it makes it "more" Shipbucketish. Redhorse's orginals did not use any shading whatsoever, and thats fine too...but you cant really remain in any middle ground there.
